The Micro Casette Series

1983 marked the true turning point for the vintage Microman line. Takara introduced the Micro Change line, and was now fully invested in the transforming toy trend. The first three toys of the Micro Change line were the Micro Casette figures, micro casettes that transformed into either a bot (Micross), a jaguar or a condor. As seen by the content image below, it was a fairly simple set, with just the cassette, case and guns and of course paperwork. Due to the Micro Changes proximity to the Transformers explosion to come, these Micro Casette sets can fetch a hefty price in good condition. Each model came in two different colors. Also released was a hard to find 3-piece set, which contained one of each type of MicroCassette robo.
