Micro thanks to...

(From Jim Valentino, the current keeper of the site)

When fans of Microman look to an authoritative website for all things Micro, the first that comes to mind is Microforever. When I began my journey, our Facebook Group, MicroFans - Micronauts & Microman (ミクロマンとマイクロノーツ) Group - and Microforever were and are my go to spots to learn, share and enjoy this amazing hobby. Taking over the reigns of the site and recoding for the modern era has been more rewarding than challenging, but I was amazed at the depth of information presented, and still to be accumulated in this library of coolness.

But no thank you note would be complete without acknowledging the main man, Paul Lorphanpaibul, who began this site way back in 1998, using the old table method of coding, and with intense dedication and knowledge, assembled this massive font of knowledge in his free time, and also editing and maintaining the site for many years. To you sir, we tip our chrome caps. I hope I can do this site justice.

Naturally, there are many other contributors who made this possible, most immediatley, Tom Vigneau, whose unrivaled dedication to this incredible hobby shines a light on a very deep subject. Tom has agreed to provide knowledge and photographs of his collection where needed to fill in some gaps, so I can't wait to show some of those.

Additional contributers include Minoru Sashida, who runs Oriental Technologies site, and has agreed to let me show some of his pics of rarities. Ray Miller and Bryan Wilkinson are also superknowledgable guys and provide plenty of backstory to the Microverse. There are plenty more, I am sure, but I will leave you instead with Paul's original thank you list.....

Paul Lorphanpaibul's original thank you note...

I would like to thanks the following people without them my Microman collecting would have been much more difficult if not impossible.

Tom Vigneau for having the first US Microman web site and point me out to where I can get Microman in my early days.

Ron Pringle for Micropola Web Site, a great page to learn about Microman and it's heritage. He also responsible for Micropola mailing list and also the publisher of Micropola Magazine - a Microman/-nauts Magazine. He also introduce me to Fantasiatoys where I do most of my shopping.

Erik Larsen for putting out the first Micronauts web site and venture us back into the realm of our forgotten childhood toys.

Felix Lu for being a great dealer who also really enjoy the hobby of collecting toys. (A rarity in this day and age of eBay).

Bryan Wilkinson for countless hours of translating and reporting on the latest Micro-info and also for maintaining Rocket Tube, Micro Verse Web-Ring and the Rescue Base Seattle Web Site, a great resources for Microman/Transformers info and latest info on Microman Anime.

Also special thanks to Rik Ruff of Microman MegaPlex, Masato Shono of Shono-Planning and Yutaka Ishida of Kikodo for all the help and info on the latest Micro-News from Japan. And my friend Dave Waugh of ISO for the help with all things Micronauts.

This web page would not have been possible without the following people - my friend Chris Licciardi for helping me with MS Frontpage and teaching me basic web authoring , and my wife, Brandy who gave me advices and watches me spend countless hours on the computer trying to get the page just right.
